I like to think that many people really do consider getting married abroad, and not because I want to drive the economy out of our homelands, but because the experience abroad is truly amazing! There are those that dream of the perfect wedding, and to be honest a wedding in the Caribbean is probably just that. Now I may be just a little biased because my Wedding was in Cuba, probably the best experience of my life, and that of my wife!

Hopefully this will help you to make a decision on whether you want to go away to have your wedding. I will be explaining what makes Cuba so special, and why we had a good time, don’t worry I will be using facts not just my pure opinion! I am using Cuba as an example for obvious reasons, but also because it appeals to both sexes as well.

So where can you go in Cuba to indulge in one of these amazing weddings, is there a hotel that can accommodate all of your needs? Well actually yes there is, anything that you want done, and anything that you would like changed, the Paradisus Rio De Oro is your best choice, although not cheap, is definitely one of the number ones. OK so now you have the venue, what is it that makes Cuba the place for you to go ahead and get married abroad?

Right for the ladies, why would you be enticed to come here? Well there are hundreds of reasons, only of which a few I will mention. Well the weather, you would be hard pressed to find your wedding taking place underneath clouds, welcome to the sunshine paradise. This is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with glorious churches and hotels. Spa treatments are available at almost every hotel here, and more importantly a great place for you to honeymoon immediately after your wedding. The tip top thing that will help is that the whole wedding is arranged and prepared for you, with you contributing wherever you want!

So what is great about this for the guys? Well it’s Cuba, the land of Cigars, if you’re lucky, the lady might allow you to go off and roll a cigar in a factory, she might even join you. Also you got the beach, you want to relax and have a few whiskeys or rums on the beach then no problem, a lot of the beaches have bars on them. OK so drink and cigars covered, that’s about it isn’t it?

Do you really need any other reasons to go to this glorious location to get married, it was a wonderful experience for me, and there is everything here you could need, now all you need to do is get the family over there!
