Wedding Invitations for your Theme of Choice

Themed wedding invitations are a great way to express yourself, and the true personalities of the bride and groom. For example, if the couple love soccer, what is wrong with sending out a handmade invitation in the shape of a soccer ball?
How about sending guests a message in a bottle to kick off the perfect beach or tropical themed wedding? You may want to consider something a little more subtle such as cute little boy and girl stationary to signify that the happy couple were childhood sweethearts.
Lovely Asian wedding bulletins can easily be transformed into personalized wedding invitations. Your options are virtually endless, and don’t feel that you must conform to the stuffy heavy stock cardboard invitations with formal raised lettering and pearly covers.
These are fine for many couples but not right for everyone, especially modern day couples. Some couples are opting for email invitations which are very affordable but for your older relatives and select family and friends, they may not have Internet access and that could be a problem. Mailed invitations are still your best bet to ensure the invites get to each and every invited wedding guest.
You might want to choose a selection of handmade greeting cards and write all of your invitations by hand - this is usually best suited for small weddings - after all, you don’t really have the time or the stamina to hand write 300 invitations!
Keep in mind you should choose themed wedding invitations that are in keeping with your wedding theme. For example, if you send a very formal wedding invitation and you are having a beachfront wedding where everyone is to come barefoot, these two are highly conflicting and the formal invite will give guests the wrong message. Your invitations most definitely will give your wedding guests a clue about your wedding theme, whether it will be casual or formal and provide basic information on how to dress for the occasion.
No matter what theme you have chosen for your wedding day, you can find (or custom make) the perfect complimentary theme wedding invitations. From beach and seaside weddings, to Asian and butterfly theme weddings, just use your imagination to find the perfect collection of wedding invitations and accompanying stationary.
As the final piece de resistance, use monogram stickers or custom ordered wedding seals for your stationary. A good tip is to include an extra seal or sticker for your guest to ’save the date’ on their calendar.
There are some things you should consider when choosing your beach theme wedding invitations. Make sure that any scenery you sue is not so bold as to obscure any writing. Themes should be lighter in color rather than using a heavier ink. Heavy ink on a busy image can be hard to read and you do not want to make your guests struggle to understand the wedding details.
Additionally, if you use colors like blue or green, any wildlife or shells try to keep them closer to your borders of the invitation and let them frame the entire scene. If necessary, use shading of the image to ensure the text will be legible. Also remember to check a proof to ensure that your image colors do not clash with your text.
Beach Themed Wedding Invitations create an image with your guests that will undoubtedly be peaceful and will speak well of your event. Everyone loves the beach, whether it be by an ocean, lake, river or pond. Beaches are warm, friendly and evoke images of summer breezes and long walks; your invitations can do the same.
